Each year the Visits Secretary arranges a programme of visits to places of interest and significance in the South West of England that can be reached in a day.  Sometimes we share cars or use public transport, but usually we travel by coach to places that are a bit further away.

When we can, we arrange for guides to make each visit as informative as possible.  We try not to schedule departures too early in the morning, and we aim to return home by the late afternoon.

Coaches pick up in Topsham (Holman Way car park) and, subject to confirmation each time, Budleigh Salterton (Public Hall bus stop).  The departure time will vary with each visit.

We always ensure that there is adequate opportunity for refreshment, coffee and lunch etc.  We aim to make each visit as convivial as possible.  It is an excellent way of getting to know your fellow members.
